Abu Dhabi Airport (AUH)
The closest airport to the Viceroy Hotel Yas Island is Abu Dhabi International Airport, which is 8.2km from the hotel and a 13 minute car journey. All other Yas Island hotels are located an additional one minute driving distance away. Taking a taxi from the airport is the easiest and most effective means of getting to Yas Island. The journey will cost approximately US$10-15 each way. Please ensure that you use the formal taxi stand at the airport. Directional signs will show you the way to the stand after exiting into the arrivals hall.
Dubai International Airport (DXB)
Dubai International Airport is 125km from the hotel and the journey will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car at a cost of approximately US$70.
If you are arriving to Dubai International Airport via an Emirates airlines flight, you may avail of the free bus service for passengers landing in Dubai for a visit to Abu Dhabi. Please note that this service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance and passengers must produce their flight ticket. Passengers will disembark from the bus at the following locations in Abu Dhabi city: Emirates downtown office, Khalidiya and the Corniche. In order to get to Yas Island from these locations you will be required to get a taxi, which is approximately 35km from the city and will cost approximately US$20. If you are arriving to the airport on other airline carriers, there are no direct bus services to Abu Dhabi from Dubai International Airport, however, you can plan an indirect route with two or more interchanges using the journey planner on the RTA website.
